Without question, this had to be the most decorated and beautiful room I have seen to date.

Ashley and Joshua had their Wedding Reception at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel on July 31st. This is a venue that we love working at for a few reasons. It’s a beautiful venue, the staff are great to work with and the events their are always a lot of fun.

Fingerlakes Entertainment provided the up-lighting and name in lights for the event, which looks fantastic in the Harbor Hotel’s ballroom. The family came in the day before and built a beautiful canopy over top of the head table, which was raised up on a stage for the entire Wedding party. Between the flowers, lighting, cake and canopy, Im not sure if I’ve ever seen a ballroom so well put together. This is definitely one of those situations where a picture is worth a thousand words.

Joshua and Ashley, Thank you for having Fingerlakes Entertainment out for your big day. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to work with you!

Best wishes to you both!

Sam and Holly exchanged their vows at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva NY on July 25th, 2010. We had the privilege of being part of the Ceremony and Reception and we’re so glad we were.

The Ceremony music was played by a harpist who they brought in. We provided microphones for both the harpist, as well as the efficient for the service. The weather was perfect for their Ceremony, minus a touch of wind which created no real issues with the exception of the harpists sheet music being blown around. I had my assistant Dave assist her with keeping her pages in order so she could read from them.

After the Ceremony, the went off with their photographer while we provided background music for their guests while they enjoyed cocktails.

For introductions, Sam and Holly opted to have some fun, putting together some great multi-song Grand Entrance music for their wedding party members. It’s always a blast to do this, as it’s a surprise to the Wedding party members. I love seeing the expressions on their faces as their being introduced.

After introductions, we went right in to Sam and Holly’s first dance, followed by Parent dances, toasts and dinner. Sam and Holly were really looking to cut loose and have a great time with their Friends and Family, so immediately following dinner they shared their cake cutting and we partied from that point right up to the end of the evening.

This Wedding was a blast! Their friends and family joined them on the dance floor for the entire evening.

We also provided up-lighting in Red to match the decor of the room. Up-lighting always looks fantastic in the Castle Ballroom at Belhurst.

Sam & Holly -- Thank you so much for having Fingerlakes Entertainment out for your big day. It was a real pleasure having the opportunity to assist you in putting together what was a Great evening.

Best wishes to you both!

And now, a few images from the evening. This one is a little long, but there were a ton of great pictures and video that I really wanted to share.

This Saturday we were back at the Esperanza Mansion for Wyatt & Elizabeth’s Reception. We love working with Kristie and the Staff at the Esperanza and always have a great time.

Wyatt & Elizabeth’s event was no different. They’re a great couple that didn’t want to bring in all the “traditional” wedding events in to their day. They were just looking for a evening with a nice dinner and a great party for their guests.

Wyatt & Elizabeth, Thank you for having Fingerlakes Entertainment out for your Big Day. Best wishes to you both!

What was scheduled for a long afternoon, turned in to a Great afternoon and evening with some very cool people. Joe and Amanda exchanged their vows at the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum in front of their Friends and Family and overlooking Lake Ontario. As an MC, I always enjoy the opportunity of being part of the couples union, as well as the Reception.

Joe and Amanda held their Reception at the Seneca Lake Country Club, which is a really great little venue with a great view of Seneca Lake. It was a relatively small reception, but that certainly didnt stop these guys from having a great time through the evening.

Joe and Amanda, Thank you for having Fingerlakes Entertainment out for your day. It was a pleasure to be part of it. Best Wishes to you both!
