Amine & Jessica 06-12-10
Saturday we had the privilege of being part of Amine and Jessica’s Wedding Reception. This was a cultural experience I’ll never forget that was very cool to be part of.
We began the afternoon by providing Ceremony music for Amine & Jessica. A nice, quiet and quick Ceremony bonded the two of them as they overlooked Keuka Lake from the Esperanza Mansions patio.
After the Ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and cake prior to beginning the dancing portion of the evening. This is when things got cool.
Amine and Jessica left for a short time with their photographer Brady Dillsworth, who’s a fantastic photographer and always great to work with, for their Sunset photo’s. Upon returning, they had changed their outfits in to something more….”traditional.” Amine is from Morocco, and while most of the afternoon was dedicated to the “traditional” Reception style, it was important for them to use the last hour to show appreciation to Amine heritage. The last hour was very cool, as the outfits changed, the music changed and many of the dances were led by a couple of Amine’s Groomsmen. The guests all seemed to really enjoy being part of the evening, circling the couple on the dance floor and working with the Groomsmen to learn the new steps.
Amine & Jessica – Thank you for inviting Fingerlakes Entertainment out for your big day. It was a pleasure to be part of it.
