Danielle's Sweet 16. 6-13-09

Saturday the 13th gave us a nice little break from the Weddings for a day. This weekend we were invited to the Harmony House in Webster to provide entertainment for Danielle’s Sweet 16. In doing some planning with Danielle’s Mother, she had mentioned that something to the tune of 100 kids were invited. Unfortunately, not all of them showed and we were left with a group of 25-30, really great kids to provide entertainment for.

There wasn’t any crazy things that went in to this one. Danielle just wanted a bunch of good music for her and her friends to dance to.

So that’s just what we did.

Our guest light jockey for a minute. We did her Sweet 16 a couple months ago.

The Set-up:

For this event and venue, we opted to run the two big Mackie 1521′s and we doubled up our subs, using two Mackie 1801′s. For lighting, we ran two Chauvet colorstrips, the Vue4 and our 750 watt strobe, requested by Danielle.

This was a pretty small event, but these kids were a ton of fun to entertain. This is the second time we’ve been up at the Harmony House to entertain for a Sweet 16 and both times we’ve had a great group of kids. Im looking forward to more events there.
